Ep. 050 – The Belko Experiment

Welcome back scaredy cats, it’s time for another episode of the TEXCHRIS DAVESAW MASSACRE! To kick things off we start our conversation with “31 Days of Horror”, and chat about what types of movies we’re both (hoping) to watch. Dave proposes 31 horror “versus” movies, while Chris tries to avoid a string of zombie and cannibal flicks. Then we get down and dirty with today’s 2016 bloodbath: The Belko Experiment. We talk plenty about the robust cast of the movie, sing John Gallagher Jr.’s praises, and chat about rough jobs. It’s another good one, scaredy cats!

Welcome to another episode of the podcast scaredy cats! Today it takes our brains a few minutes to get started, so Chris shares his thoughts after finally completing the game Dead Space. We get rolling and chat about the new 4K restoration of Suspiria, and getting addicted to buying remastered horror blu-rays. Then we dive into this week’s 2017 slow-burn freakout: It Comes at Night. Dave’s brother provides a lovely testimony about the movie, and we discuss how watching it is similar to getting drunk. We talk about our different takes on the movie Innkeepers, as well as teasing other titles like The Sacrament, You’re Next, and The Mist. All this before finally sitting down to watch Gregory Peck in the 70s classic: The Omen.
